Hola! My name is Gene Toland and I am 8 years old. Also, I am a daredevil as you can see. I am in 3rd grade at the Creativa School here in Monteverde, Costa Rica. I love animals and have been doing gymnastics for 3 years. I am really happy to be here learning Spanish and making friends. Despite always being wet from the rain and climbing steep hills, I am in LOVE with it HERE. Our attic is the best for watching movies! I can’t believe how many animals I am seeing at my school: pizotes/coatis, agouties/cherengas, armadillos and more! Check back here to see some of the photos I am taking with the camera that Laura Sanda gave me before we left. (This was completely written by Gene Toland)
